WHAT I DO :
I'm a backline technician , specialised in programming keyboards and computers for on stage use . I take care of all things MIDI , MADI , virtual instruments , digital audio , software DAWs , timecode , clicktracks and other electronic wizardry happening on modern live productions .
In addition I have a good all-round knowledge and experience with all sorts of other backline (drums , guitars , etc … ) , general sound engineering skills , and I often take on the extra task of stage or production manager .
On many occasions I find myself as the middle man between the musicians on one side , and the sound and production crew at the other side , coming up with flexible and efficient solutions that make all parties involved happy .
I have over 25 years of experience with dialing sounds into synthesisers , samplers , drum machines and computers , both live and in the studio , and I've set-up many live shows complete with clicktracks , loops and timecode sync for the video and light-show .

WHO I AM :
I like to take on new challenges and see myself as a technical-artistic explorer , a seeker , and a human being in progress .
Working as a freelance tech seems to fit best with my independent personalty , and I like to take on international tours to see part of the world .
I love modern technology and gadgets , and like to program all sorts of software based machines ( computers , workstations , beatboxes , MIDI setups , consoles , iDevices , etc ..... ) . On the other hand I'm really fond of nature , people and life in general . I like to work with creative , friendly , down-to-earth people on exciting new projects to make interesting things happen .

WHAT I SUPPLY :
I mostly work with whatever is available at the time , but for operating loops and clicks on stage , I own a basic setup that I often rent out to clients . (pic below)
It's a small & cost effective system that has many advantages over more traditional systems . (flexible to edit , compact , cheap , reliable )
It consists of 2 logic rigs running in wild sync (backing up for each other) , and a small digital 01V/96 desk as a switching and routing matrix . All audio stays digital from source to FOH and monitors , with up to 16 tracks being sent over MADI , including timecode for lights and/or video .
I also run a simple home studio that I use for pre-production , sound design , graphic design and music recording .
